Bijan Majidi is an accomplished innovator and business transformation expert with more than 30 years of an international track record in developing business ventures in diverse high-technology industries, driving business innovation, digitalization, effectiveness, efficiency, growth and change.

Bijan Majidi is the founder, CEO and President of Dinamica International, a management consultancy, innovation and ventures development company, headquartered in Bahrain.

He recently started-up three new business units: Dinamica Automotive, Dinamica LAB and Dinamica Knowledge, all focused at developing innovative solutions and know-how in the changing automotive industry which is going through a real revolutionary transformation.

Bijan has also produced several research, white and workshop papers and is currently engaged in writing: The Automotive Revolution – Smart Cities Mobility: distinguishing hype from reality. It encapsulates the overall industry transformation, in terms of smart cities’ mobility evolution, overall business digitalization, vehicles connectivity applications, the electrification paradigm, its impact on the infrastructure and overall alternative energy development and deployment, and the future of autonomous vehicles, multimodal shared mobility, the related infrastructure, ecosystems, rules, regulations and legislations impact and change requirements.

Edward is a Future Mobility Planner and Global Coordinator with Mott MacDonald in Dubai. His strong Civil Engineering background and passion for technology and sustainability give him the ideal balance for understanding and applying existing engineering principles to exciting and emerging transport technologies.

Edward has led or advised on a number of recent projects for the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Airport. These include the Dubai Electric Vehicle Infrastructure study and developing a scope and plans to run a Self-Driving Transport Challenge in the Emirate. Such experience has given him the platform to understand the potential impacts that CAVs will have on urban development.

Edward is developing a reputation in the future mobility industry and has spoken at a recent conference for the International Road Federation on the topic of CAVs.

Has strong background in process industrial plant including oil & gas, power & water generation process, material handling process, glass manufacturing process, etc.

Current job is energy Demand side director in Dubai Supreme Council of Energy looking after the whole energy demand management spectrum of emirate of Dubai. Served previously in oil and gas industry for many years as project division manager / Project Manager, handled mega feed and EPC projects and worked as general manager in glass manufacturing company as well.

Martin Tillman is Director at international engineering consultancy Aecom leading Strategic Planning and Advisory for the UAE and Oman. He leads the disciplines of transport modelling, planning, transport technology, road safety, parking and freight. Martin has been based in the UAE for ten years, beginning with the management of the policy and planning work on the Abu Dhabi Surface Transport Master Plan for the Department of Transport. Previously, Martin has lived and worked in the UK, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, and Qatar. He is currently working on transit master planning projects as well as providing transport input to Emirate and city wide master planning projects. Martin enjoys the challenge of providing innovative and value added advice for clients and consulting with stakeholders. His key aims are to encourage sustainability, future proof concepts through appropriate measures, and to create truly connected and liveable communities. Martin is a Fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and the Institute of Highways and Transportation.
